Both the base model, Pure, and the Touring trim have an estimated range of 406 miles. The less expensive models will have slightly shorter driving ranges. Lucid claims the Air Grand Touring model will have a whopping driving range of up to 517 miles according to EPA estimates, the highest range of any EV currently on the market.

While independent tests have yet to be conducted, Lucid claims the quickest Air can complete the quarter-mile in 9.9 seconds at 144 mph, which is extremely fast even for high-performance cars. The Touring model produces 650 horsepower, the Grand Touring trim generates 800 hp, and the premier Dream Edition makes a phenomenal 1080 hp. While the entry-level Air, the Pure trim, is fitted with a single electric motor that produces 480 horsepower and drives the rear wheels, the other three models use dual electric motors that provide all-wheel drive.
